FOMACO 112 INJECTOR
New Fomaco 112 delivered and installed due to an increased production level at Faroe Origin.
“With the new Fomaco 112 injector now installed we finally are capable of keeping up with our current production capacity and the future to come”

Faroe Origin
Faroe Origin’s department on Toftir had a single Fomaco 112 injector. Having a rapidly growing, a single machine couldn’t keep up with the production. With these issues, there was a need for expansion.
A production intensity that exceeds the recommended limit of a Fomaco injector leads to quicker wear and tear on the machine and risk of lowering the quality to keep up with the increasing production. Besides having this growth, there was also an issue with a tank for storing the brine for the injector, as its self-regulating system wasn’t functioning correctly, leading the tank to overflow.
Petur Larsen set up a second Fomaco 112 injector at Faroe Origin spitting up the load to keep up with the increasing level of production. Meanwhile, the tank on the former Fomaco was removed and replaced with a salt vessel instead that is more reliable and also used on the new machine delivered to Faroe Origin.
With the tank replaced with a better system and an additional Fomaco injector, the production flow at Faroe Origin now runs more smoothly, and the danger of fluctuations in the quality due to overloading is now gone.
